Economic Corridors
Japanese official development assistance (ODA) has been used over many years for building infrastructure in Asia, which in turn has helped Asian countries with their economic development. Now, as economic ties are strengthening among Asian countries, Japan is moving to spread the "economic corridor" concept from the Mekong region to all parts of Asia. The Japan Journal reports on how Japan is assisting with both "hard" and "soft" infrastructure-building throughout Asia.
